Grand Champion Occlestone Guinevere - stardom!

It is with great pride that we announce Grand Champion Occlestone Guinevere has made her modelling debut and will be appearing on the packaging of Purina Pro-Plan complete diet - Indoor Cat variety. She was certainly a poser and enjoyed herself immensely on the cat walk.

Site update - GCCF Chinchilla standards & photos

The FAQ page now contains GCCF registration policy for Persian longhair Chinchilla, Golden and Shaded Silver cats. There is a new kitten photo along with Guinevere's original Purina shot in the Photos section.

"Lovely Chinchilla lady just nine months. A super full, well groomed coat with the lightest of tipping, clear hocks and paws. Wide short tail to balance. Rounded top of head, near feathered ears, big round expressive aqua eyes, short nose with good break, outline to eyes & nose black, firm chin. A lovely lass with temperament to match."

Shropshire CC Show - 2 February 2002: First and Best of Breed

Below is an extract from "Our Cats" 26 April 2002 issue.

Occlestone Guinevere's Shropshire show report - Judge: C Leighton

"A very sweet young lady with an extrovert personality who showed herself very well at what was obviously her first outing. Super round head developing, though ears are fractionally large at present but showing lovely long furnishings and nicely rounded top of head. Large, round expressive eyes which are developing to a very nice deep emerald green and had super contrasting mascara outlines. Nice short snub nose with good break and leather turning to a good brick colour. Nicely rounded cheeks and muzzle lines with a good chin and level bite. Small, but not lightweight body of good balance for a baby with short neat legs and neat rounded paws. Coat still very kitten-like and with rather a woolly texture, but was gleaming white and very well prepared. Nice light tipping evident to all parts and good short tail which still needs further covering, but again showed nice light tipping. Super nature and a pleasure to handle."
